Update: After two weeks of exploring, Josie has been found and is being reunited with her family! A happy ending for all!!
Emily and Will’s wedding at the West Mountain Inn probably did not start how they thought it would. They woke up the morning of their wedding to discover their dog, Josie, was missing. Their morning was spent searching for Josie before they started to prep for the wedding. By mid-afternoon, the news had spread to a local radio station about Josie and so many people were out searching for her. The day went on, with a beautiful ceremony near the garden officiated by Emily’s uncle, followed by a relaxed cocktail hour before moving into the barn for the reception. The West Mountain Inn is such a gorgeous property with bistro lights lining the path to the barn that is surrounded by trees. I wish I was able to end this post with news that Josie had been found but she has not been found yet. However, there have been many sightings in Arlington and it is heartwarming to know that so many people have come together to help find this sweet couple’s dog.
